Best Paper Award (July 2009)

PhD student Liu Yongchao together with Professors Bertil Schmidt and Douglas Maskell were decidedly, the winning authors at the 20th IEEE International Conference on Application-specific Systems, Architectures and Processors. The SCE trio clinched the Best Paper Award for their submission titled, MSA-CUDA: Multiple Sequence Alignment on Graphics Processing Units with CUDA. The event this year was hosted in Boston, USA from 7- 9 July, where it covered the theory and practice of application-specific systems, architectures and processors.
